A shatari is a crown-shaped religious utensil depicting the feet or paduka of Vishnu used by devotees of Vishnu. After worship has been completed, the faithful are offered milk and panchamrita, the five things used in the ritual bath, and a sip of holy water, and then the shatari is placed on the head of a devotee by a priest.
