Ceremonial dance in pairs using rúcha (banners with red scarves) is performed during the wedding in Ratíškovice
Women wear festive woollen skirts with blue hems. The dance is performed by single young men and wreath-clad bridesmaids.

Moravia
The Dance of Courtship
In parts of Moravia, young men and women had the opportunity to mingle on festival days and other special occasions. At weddings the single people would perform a special dance using banners made of large red scarves. Throughout Moravia, both dancing and community identification were facilitated by the style and decoration of the footwear worn to such events.
